By creating an account or using Chosen Lines Writers ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Community Guidelines. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the platform. These Terms apply to all visitors, registered members, and paying subscribers of Chosen Lines Writers.

You are responsible for creating and maintaining a secure account. You agree to: • Provide accurate and complete information when registering • Keep your login credentials confidential • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized account access • Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account You must be at least 13 years old to create an account on Chosen Lines Writers.

You retain full copyright and ownership of all writing, poetry, stories, and content you post on Chosen Lines Writers. Your work is yours. Period. By posting content on Chosen Lines Writers, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to: • Display your content to other community members within the platform • Feature your writing in our community newsletter or social media (with your name/credit) This license ends when you delete your content or close your account. We will never sell, transfer, or claim ownership of your work. You may remove any of your posts at any time. Deleting a post removes it from public view, though backup copies may exist for a limited time for technical reasons.

You agree not to post content that: • Violates the rights of others, including copyright or privacy rights • Is abusive, harassing, threatening, or discriminatory • Is spam, plagiarism, or deliberately misleading • Contains explicit, graphic, or illegal content • Impersonates another person or entity We reserve the right to remove content that violates these standards and to suspend or terminate accounts of members who repeatedly violate them. Chosen Lines Writers is a free community for writers of all backgrounds. All features are available to every member at no cost, including writing prompts, book listings, workshops, guided series, author tools, and the full community experience. There are no paid tiers, subscriptions, or in-app purchases. If we ever introduce paid features in the future, members will be notified in advance, and any changes will be clearly communicated.

The Chosen Lines Writers name, logo, platform design, and all original platform content (excluding member-posted writing) are the intellectual property of Chosen Lines Writers and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission. If you believe your copyright has been infringed by another member, please use the Report Content feature or contact support with documentation of your original work.

We strive to keep Chosen Lines Writers available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The platform may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features or the platform itself at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.

Chosen Lines Writers is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chosen Lines Writers is not liable for: • Content posted by community members • Any damages resulting from use or inability to use the platform • Loss of content, data, or revenue Your use of the platform is at your own risk. We encourage you to keep personal copies of your writing.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will notify you by updating the date at the top of this page and may send a notification through the platform. Continued use of Chosen Lines Writers after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved in accordance with applicable law.
